Expect the Unexpected

In my last post, I vented on the "moving" theme for the year. Silly me. The theme should be "Expect the Unexpected". Yup, that should be the theme. Moving is just a side effect.

Today I met our new landlords - a husband and wife who own their own medical facility. They are really nice people. He is a surgeon who has traveled to the states and Europe, so we hit it off on that theme (traveling, that is). His wife is a sweetheart and down to earth. Their son just left for Germany, hopefully to study in a grad school (he has to pass some exams). Daughter is still in grade school. Gramma was also visiting and we spent some time talking about spiritual issues with her. Interesting lady. Been through a lot.

So, what is the unexpected, you ask? Ahhh, that we can't move in until October. You see, they bought a new place and they were told it would be ready. We all know how that goes. The kitchen isn't done and they can't really be living somewhere without a kitchen (no cabinets or appliances hooked up). They were told two more weeks after this week. Ends up being the end of September. Other than that, we are all set to live there and anticipate a good relationship with them.

In the meantime, what to do? Pray. God is full of surprises and he never lets us down. He always takes care of us. So we are praying, waiting, expecting an interesting answer from our Good and Faithful Father. He obviously has some plan in mind. He always does!

On a better note, Yura is feeling much better, although removal of tonsils is still in the near future plans. Kiana is on meds for mono and we are not sure where she got it from (no, it doesn't just come from kissing. Google it and you'll see). We are praying the boys don't catch anything and so far so good.

So, the saga continues. Never a dull moment. Some say living life to the fullest. I'm not sure about that, but we are in no way bored with life! Can't wait to see how this all turns out myself. And of course, I will post along the way. Have a blessed day!
