This is the pumpkin we slaughtered to make our pies. It gave us four pies (one of them crustless) and a whole bunch of seeds that we roasted. Delish!
This is the view from our third floor window (the boys' room view). These are the stairs that you go up to get to the 24 hour store. This was the big snow fall a month ago.
A bunch of men started unloading a huge truck this morning and didn't stop until evening! This was just the beginning. Yura was wondering how far he needed to haul a tree. Now we know. Just up the steps from us and on the other side of the building! This is the view from our kitchen window. Later, David went out and gathered two big plastic bags of pine needles. Now to find craft projects to use them! Working on a wreath...
Yura and Kiana went to a nearby church for a brief meeting. On the way they passed a "private sector" where people still live in houses. Most of the city is made up of apartment buildings.
Here is hubby enjoying the warmer day. When it is colder, the jacket is zipped all the way up and a scarf is added to the mix. Have a blessed day!
